Looking forward to see full movie on Tuesday. Surprise this wasn't getting struck down by T2 Of course I think some of the DJ's associated with the this promo/short are also associated with Circoloco Records

It's just that the festival is set in Miami, also GTA Vice City is so iconic to Miami, then the festival was connected to the GTA Vice City theme because it's set in Miami and this way it attracts more public. Nothing interesting

There was a TLFS video that had the music "If 6 was 9" from Axiom Funk.
Could it be word play? In german the sound "neun" (meaning "nine" in german) and "nein" (meaning "no" in german) are similar. What if 6 wasn't ... ?
So what if this means that the next GTA won't be called GTA 6/VI, but just GTA/Grand Theft Auto?
Nothing of what I'm saying is new, but this way they could continue expanding the GTA franchise through Online DLC without having to worry about numerals.

This has been discussed, but they would need to have multiple teams leapfrogging each other so they could continue to release at least two major DLCs per year. And the singleplayer would become solo player (Online). Since they wouldn't have to worry as much about starting from scratch, in order to make a GTA 7, they would probably be able to work better with episodic content that isn't as demanding. It also allows them to make content more up-to-date with current times and trends (skins, cars, etc...). That being said, they could still release another big map expansion, but it would likely take longer (around 10 years) and have less content at the start than we have so far. (Unless they put AI making content for them ) The point is to try to make development easier, reduce costs and/or make the return of investment more constant/frequent over a long period of time. It's just more business and less gambling with investors money. People still play GTA Online and it still makes money. I wish new releases were as they always were, but the time and costs associated with AAA development can't be ignored.

Sorry but it's one of the reasons of R* losing it's former soul (other is T2 getting rid of Dan by hands of Schreier). Enjoy your report, Judas

My post is more of an assessment based on how T2 and R* are handling their games and the current state of the AAA gaming industry. *Nothing* of what I said is new. Just see how other big companies like Ubisoft or Activision work on their franchises and you'll understand where it's going.
For example, I liked the Half Life franchise and, like most people, I expected HL3, but once I understood where Valve was going in terms of business, I had to temper my expectations. In fact, it took me 9 years since the release of HL2:ep2 (2007) to recognize this, so I know the feeling.
It's pretty simple. If a company can make the same profit or more while doing less they'll usually do it. It is just how it works, most of the time.
Another thing, I don't know what's going on inside R* or T2, so while sometimes I can understand/relate to certain things that come to public, I won't put my hands in the fire for any of them. At the end of the day, it's just people doing business and I can't guess everyone's intentions.
I'm only here because I'm curious about GTA. That's it.

Also, I don't like Saints Row games and I play most games to unwind and I don't know nothing about political commisars. Another thing, how do you know if Dan or anyone else at R* and T2 is trustworthy or wants the “best for the fans”? What is this soul you are talking about? How do you ascertain who is essential to the game's success (or to make whatever *you* like in a game)? How do you know who's best for their company or their employees? Do you understand that making games is a risky business? That someone has to pay other people to make something for years, in the hope that one day they'll have some return of investment. I repeat: I can understand or relate to certain personal or business issues or situations made public, but in the end these are adult people making business decisions, you don't know their intentions. I understand that you are very passionate about this, but I hope you can see that, as fans, certain things are out of our control.

I understand 2 things: 1) since GamerGate happened, the industry started to despise their own customers because they're not leftist 2) that investors are giving bonuses to companies for having "right" message (aka leftist bullshit about how USA was built on ideas of KKK or that police existence is racist) and linking that with Dan's statement that he didn't want to take side in political discussion I believe that Schreiers crunch article was a hitjob on T2 order, so Dan would be replaced with someone compliant and Preacher told us about it (what happened at Usher Hall)I'm tired of being insulted, shat on etc. because the american (or americanized like spiderv*ce) leftists believe that gamers are far-right; I just want have fun (and to make fun of both american extremes, since it wouldn't hurt that at all since I'm from Poland)

Everywhere is actually 9 games, Everywhere itself and then Mindseye is 8 episodes. thelastfishsupper.proboards.com/thread/87/002-usher-thi-new-agecheers for sharing ur theory and making me consider this!

Ok, this helps to understand the relationship between certain clues in the videos and the concepts behind certain design decisions for Everywhere:
- big bang = creation of a new universe => Everywhere - vortex math, the flower of life, 9 circles = 9 worlds, nine insights (celestine prophecy), 369 (from the clapping song), vortex stair case from Usher Hall => design concepts/inspiration for the world/maps and some of the lore
- creation of a New Life form (V'ger from Star Trek) => AI/android from Everywhere's trailer

I was looking for famous Scots born in October (looking for a possible date when GTA 6 could be revealed) and discovered that James II of Scotland was born on October 16th. As I don't know much about Scottish history, what's the word on him?
Page about famous Scots birthdays:
