Did anyone see that the latest saints row had its discord and reddit moderators in the credits?
the video is a bit much however an interesting breakdown from the perspective of a fan. Also if you watch from the timestamp doesnt that situation sound familiar!
How does P usually communicate a change of plans, like when something is cancelled or a story is rewritten? Any notable examples like a tweet, a video or a post on gtaforums or here?
Well big leak today guys, as much as we want to see GTA VI here this isnt the way P would have done it and for good reason... i see some hints at potential truths. cant wait to truly experience content in game and feel the connection to its viddle properly.
got into a wee back and forth over there about the hacker, at first i was adamant this couldnt be the same kid as the uber hack but honestly evidence could suggest both ways atm
reading up on the uber hack i created a new york times account and gleamed the following:
An 18 year old mass texted uber employees and caught a phish, (aka phishing scam the typical kinds "hi sara its me from tech do you mind sending me your login details im locked out" etc) He got in and now his adrenaline is rushing, he posts a little statement in the slack and follows it with allegedly phallic imagery.
Obviously uber goes crazy and reports the incident but the news ran with it as if uber had been torn apart from within and was bursting at the seams.
The articles I read all described the kid as a little in over his head and unsure what to do with all the access he got. He seemed proud of it but frankly he reported the incident and even showed how he did it. Fast forward to now and a user by the name "teapotuberhacker" posts GTA VI leaks. its the same week still as the uber hacks so lets assume its the same kid,
He runs the same phishing scam on taketwo/rockstar employees catches a phish and gets into the slack, now instead of reporting it hes in a museum for the single highest grossing piece of entertainment in histroy, he rips it all. Still high off the buzz he uploads some of the slack clips he got via rar brags about it on the forum and hits the sack.
Now im supposed to believe hes woken up a criminal mastermind and is trying to negotiate a deal with taketwo/rockstar. I mean imagine if its the same guy hes answering questions from the new york times in his emails while hes downloading rockstars slack archives.
the uber hacker had the name teapot on telegram but this guy claimed his @ was "djjdndhdbx" while the screen name does read Tea Pot. They claim to be the same person on the 2nd page of their thread and link the article to the uber hack as their previous work.
My current theory is that this is someone who is trying to pass off the uber hack as theres but neglected to read the part where the hacker outed some personal details (their age, intentions and how they did what they did). This person seems alot more reserved about their methods, calculated about what they are showing and talking about. I believe they created the account with the intention of using the recent uber hack as a badge of legitness as a hacker if they are a hacker or scammer at all. The edit about a deal was clearly the end goal when they teased having more but didnt actually share it.
Theres alot of stories unfolding here but im overall skeptical that this person is the uber hacker aswell
