Hiya, apologies if this is answered somewhere but there is so much to read and couldn’t find anything obvious… But as the Subject says - who actually determines if a case file is solved? Is it the Preacher guy himself? Or someone else? Or is it just a general consensus that “yeah that must be it, case closed”?
I’m really loving everything I’m reading so far and it’s getting my puzzle juices flowing 😂 But I have so many questions about how things work here.. Just trying to get a grip on things.
Again, apologies if this is answered somewhere else on the forum, please point me in the direction of it and delete this post if so!
Thanks x

Great question! "Back in the day" we had a well oiled machine so you would see the process more regularly, If you felt you were onto something you would present your findings and submit them as a theory. The Circle of 9, a group of volunteers who applied for the role (spots are open!) would look at the theory with great scrutiny and fact check it thoroughly followed by an independent vote on whether or not they believe said theory was all based in fact. The following Sunday we would receive "Sunday Service" where the Preacher would present the weeks theories and findings. If something was unanimously voted as fact he would give us some form of confirmation (Preacher Proof Truth) or some constructive feedback. I'm having trouble digging up the Sunday Service archives at this moment but you can see the "old" process playout there. We no longer have a circle of 9 and the last "truth" to be confirmed simply got a "bingo!". Heres the blurb from the applications thread to better explain that part
